Yael From Belarus

May 28, 2019 • By Be'ad Chaim

Yael is a single mother to 2 precious girls Tal 3.5 and newborn Avital, who are from different fathers. Yael emigrated from Belarus several years ago together with her father, who has been very helpful, loving and supportive.  Yael doesn’t have a job, she is renting an apartment and is in great financial need.

When Yael discovered she was pregnant for the 2nd time she didn’t want to abort but had no idea how she would be able to provide for her children.

Yael knew of Be’ad Chaim because she turned to us in the past when we were happy to help her with her first daughter.  When she contacted us again one of our counselors was more than happy to support her and help her again. Through your very generous sponsorship Yael was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essentials that her baby would need.

On the 28th April 2019, after being hospitalized for a month due to the rupture of her membranes,  Yael gave birth prematurely through a C-section in week 30+3 (7th month) to a precious little girl weighing just 1.260 Kg.  She named her Avital. Sweet Avital was very small and had to be put in a ward for premature babies (NICU).  She is, in fact, still there today.  Praise God she has managed to gain a bit of weight and now she is 1.524 Kg. They will wait until she is 2 Kg before she can be released home.  Please pray for her health, to feed well, gain weight so Yael can take her home.

Yael is not in contact with the father of her new baby, he is not around and doesn’t support Yael and his daughter in any way. Sometimes he talks a lot and makes many promises but nothing ever comes of it. Yael doesn’t want to fight for it and is leaving the situation as it is.

The father of Yael’s first daughter is paying alimony which is very helpful.

Yael is so grateful for all the help she and her little family have received, she is so supportive of the work of Be’ad Chaim that she keeps talking to different women she meets about us, sharing that there is another way and abortion is not the only option!

Thank you very much for your kind and generous support and for your continued prayers for Yael and her family.
