Shirin The Young Arab Israeli Teenager

Shirin is a young Arab Israeli teenager. When she and her boyfriend discovered that she was pregnant she was only 15 years old. 

At first, Shirin wanted to have an abortion.  She was very scared, being so young, she just could not imagine how she would be able to cope. Thankfully Shirin’s mother told her about Be’ad Chaim and Shirin came to meet with one of our wonderful counselors.  When she realized that we were able to offer loving help and support she decided to keep her precious baby. 

It was then through your very generous sponsorship Shirin was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essentials that her baby would need.  

On the 17th June 2019 Shirin gave birth to a precious little girl, she named her Nina. It was a natural birth and everything went well.  Praise God both mother and baby have recovered and are healthy and both are doing well. 

Shirin is living with her parents who are being very supportive of everything. She is still in a relationship with Nina’s father and they are planning to get married when they both turn 18. Praise God her boyfriend's family are also very supportive of their relationship and love their beautiful granddaughter.  Praise the Lord for His peace and unity in this young family, please pray for their relationship to grow and strengthen and for them to learn how to be good parents. 

Shirin shared that this is not an easy time but she is very happy to have her daughter, and she is so deeply grateful for all the support she has received. It really made such a huge difference and, indeed, saved the life of her baby.
