Shiran is married and has 2 children: Odelia who is two years old, and now the newborn, Oded.
Her husband is not working. He receives a disability allowance from National Insurance because of an injury to his leg.
Shiran and her husband were very excited when they discovered she was pregnant but also very anxious because of their financial situation. They have had serious debt issues and are now going through the process of bankruptcy. They really could not see how they would be able to provide for another child. Shiran’s mother-in-law told her about Be’ad Chaim and she turned to us for help.
We were very happy to support Shiran, and it was through your very generous sponsorship Shiran was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.
On the 16th of August, Shiran gave birth to a precious baby boy, they named him Oded. The birth was very long and difficult but praise God both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. Little Oded is a very calm little baby and loves playing. He is feeding and growing very well.
Shiran is on maternity leave and will soon start looking for a new job. As she is the main provider in their home, please pray for open doors and for Shiran to find a good-paying job.
Shiran is deeply grateful for all the love and support her and her family have received it really made a huge difference.
