Sharon and Her Husband

May 20, 2019 • By Be'ad Chaim

Sharon and her husband are new immigrants to Israel.  They emigrated from Ukraine just over two years ago. When they arrived  Sharon was already 32 weeks pregnant with their first son who is now 2 years old. She and her husband have a good relationship. He has found a job in a factory and she is a stay home mom.

When Little kid was only one  and a half years, Sharon discovered she was pregnant again. Neither Sharon nor her husband considered having an abortion but they were very concerned as their situation was already very challenging and they thought having another child would make it even harder.  When Sharon turned to Be’ad Chaim she was desperate for help and we were more than happy to give her our love and support.  It was through your very generous sponsorship that Sharon was able to become part of the Operation Moses Project. This provided her with all the furniture she would need for the new baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essentials. Both Sharon and her husband are so deeply grateful for all the support they have received and will be receiving in the coming year, it really has made such a huge difference.

On the 12th March 2019 Sharon gave birth to a precious baby girl. Sharon was already 41 weeks when she got to the hospital to be induced then while she was waiting for the induction her contractions started. She is so grateful as it was a quick and easy birth. Praise God both mother and baby are doing well. The baby’s older brother loves her very much, he is kissing and hugging her all the time,  and her husband is so excited that he is already saying he would like more children!  Sharon jokingly told him that next time he will be the one giving birth.

As new immigrants, they are receiving finances to help with their rent which is very helpful but they are still struggling financially.

Please pray for Both Sharon and her husband to have an opportunity to learn Hebrew and acclimatise to the new country and culture. The last few weeks Sharon and their older son got a very bad virus in their stomachs, please pray for a complete healing.

Sharon shared her deep appreciation for your generous sponsorship and for all the support her and her family have received.

Thank you so very much for your kind and generous support and for your continued prayers for Sharon and her beautiful family.
