Orin - Shani 

Orin is a single mother to 3 precious children: a 4-year-old boy named Ahar, a 1-year-old boy named Manor, and a sweet newborn named Shani. Orin had been dating a man for five years. During those years, however, they had not been getting along very well and fought a lot. When Orin found out she was pregnant for the second time they decided to break up for good. However, Orin could not imagine how she would be able to cope as a single mother to three children. She thought having an abortion would be her only option. 

Thankfully, Orin decided to make contact with one of our wonderful counselors at Be’ad Chaim. They had been in contact previously as we had already supported Orin with her first son. Praise God after talking to her counselor Orin took a brave decision to keep her baby.

Through your generous support, Orin became part of The Operation Moses Project which provided her with a crib and sheets, stroller, bathtub and the promise of monthly vouchers for a whole year, to buy other essentials for her baby. Your assistance has been a tremendous help for Orin, a single mom. Orin is so very grateful for your kindness.

On the 19th of September, Orin gave birth to a precious little girl, she named her Shani. The birth went very well and both mother and baby have recovered and are healthy. 

Orin is currently in the process of suing the father of her children because he is refusing to pay alimony or to help her in any way. Orin gets government residential assistance and income support from the National Fund and she lives close to her family, even though they can’t help her with much, it is a great blessing to her.
