Oriana - Maayan

Oriana is a young single mother who lives with her parents and grandmother. She has had one abortion in the past. Oriana had been in a relationship with a man but they decided to separate. Then, sometime later, they got together again and she found out she was pregnant. He was very much against the pregnancy and pressured her to have an abortion, but this time Oriana decided to keep her baby and raise the baby on her own.

Oriana knew she would need support as a single mother, so when she heard about Be’ad Chaim through a friend she decided to reach out for help. We were very happy to support Oriana and it was then through your very generous sponsorship she was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.

On the 13th of July 2019, Oriana gave birth to a beautiful little girl, she named her Maayan. It was a C-section; praise the Lord everything went well, and Oriana is recovering well, though she does still have a little pain sometimes.

Maayan’s father tries to be in touch with Oriana weekly, asking how they are doing through messages. He has seen his daughter twice since she was born. Oriana is really hoping for Maayan’s father to be more involved in his daughter's life, so she knows she has a father. Please pray for him to take responsibility for his daughter and support Oriana. 

Oriana shared that she is grateful that her precious daughter has very good male figures in her life. Her grandfather and her uncle love her very much and spend a lot of time with her. 

Oriana is deeply grateful for all she has received, all the love and support. It really meant a great deal to her and made a huge difference to her situation.
