Marin - Yelena

Beautiful Marin celebrated her 1st birthday on the 6th August 2019. She is a sweet and precious little girl who is growing and developing well and has already started walking.

Marin is not going to daycare yet, she is home being cared for by her grandmother.  Yelena’s mother quit her job so she would be able to take care of little Marin. 

Yelena successfully completed some bookkeeping courses that were subsidised by the government and this has enabled her to find a good job.  She is really pleased to have this new direction in her life and she is really enjoying it. 

Yelena is not in contact with Marin’s father apart from when there are court hearings.  She is very disappointed that he has not shown any interest in his little daughter since she was born.  He has only visited her a few times even though he has specific times allocated for him to be with Marin.  Yelena is just very sad that he is going to miss her growing up, and that Marin does not have a loving and caring father in her life.  Please pray for Marin’s father's heart to soften and be open to love and care for his daughter.  

Yelena was overflowing with thanksgiving when we spoke to her, she said: “I am so deeply grateful for all your help and support, it was very significant and I don’t have enough words to express how much I appreciate it.''
