Linoy and baby boy Jonathan

Feb 03, 2021 • By Be'ad Chaim

Linoy is 24 years old and the mother of three children. When she found out that she was pregnant with Jonathan, she decided to have an abortion because of marital and financial pressures. Linoy told one of her friends that both her mother and her husband were pressuring her to abort. The friend asked her to look on the internet first and find out what abortion was before she made her final decision.

Thankfully, Linoy found Be’ad Chaim, contacted our hotline and met with her local counselor who gave her the hope to continue to the pregnancy. Linoy’s decision to continue her pregnancy was also influenced by the offer of being a recipient of the Operation Moses Project, which would supply her with a crib and sheets, baby bath, stroller, and monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essentials she would need for the new baby.  Baby Jonathan was born in November. After his birth, the doctors found out that he had cardiac issues. As a result, he had to go through surgery and is still under observation and care.

Linoy said: “My friend’s advice was the best gift she ever gave me, and I’m forever grateful to her. With the donor’s help, I can now hold my baby in my arms and rest assured that he is being taken care of.  I’m so happy that I chose life for my baby boy!”
