Chaya - baby Adi

May 18, 2020 • By Be'ad Chaim

Chaya is 33 years old and married.  In the past she has had one miscarriage.  She told me that she and her husband are in a lot of debt but she doesn’t trust him to pay these off. She was crying on the phone when she told me that when she found out she was pregnant again the only thing that seemed an option was to have an abortion, because of their financial situation.  Now she is truly sorry for ever having thought she would do that.

Thankfully Chaya heard about Be’ad Chaim and when she made contact with us we were more than happy to help her.  One of our wonderful counselors was then able to give her all the love and support she needed.

It was then through your very generous sponsorship that Chaya was able to become part of the Operation Moses Project, which provided her with all the furniture she would need for her baby plus monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy the other essential things she would need for her baby.

On the 19th of January 2020, Chaya gave birth to an amazing little princess and named her Adi. She said that it was a regular delivery. She had some stitches removed last month and is still recovering.

Chaya is struggling to buy enough food and is very worried about the situation now with the Coronavirus. She also suffers from depression and is taking medication for this.  Her mother helps her a lot. She stays over and helps her with baby Adi, and is very thankful to have such an amazing beautiful granddaughter!

Chaya really was very touched and so grateful for all the care and attention her counselor gave to her and her family and also to her donor.  All this support during this difficult and challenging time made such a huge difference Thank you.
