Anastasia - Omer

Nov 14, 2019 • By Be'ad Chaim

Anastasia is originally from Russia, she emigrated to Israel in 2013. She is a divorced single mother.

Anastasia had wanted to have a child  for many years but wasn’t able to conceive because of a medical condition she had.  When she finally got pregnant she was very happy but also very scared and worried at the same time.  She didn’t know how she would be able to cope as a single mother. Knowing that she would have to take care of her child while continuing to work to provide for them both.  She actually considered having an abotion.  Thankfully then a  friend  told her about Be’ad Chaim and she turned to us for help. One of our wonderful counselors was able to talk to her, encourage and support her, and Anastasia then decided to keep her precious baby.

It was then through your very generous sponsorship Anastasia was able to become part of The Operation Moses Project. This provided her with new furniture for her baby and also monthly vouchers for a whole year to buy other essentials that her baby would need.

On the 5th July 2019 Anastasia gave birth to a sweet little boy, she named him Omer. It was a natural birth and everything went well, praise the Lord both Anastasia and her little boy are healthy and doing well.

Anastasia is so grateful for all the support she has received, she is now rejoicing at being a new mother to little Omer who brings so much joy to her.  She is so very grateful and thankful for all the help she has received.

Anastasia is currently on maternity leave until November.  Before giving birth, she was working as a nurse in a hospital and she is hoping to go back to work at the same place. Anastasia's mother is planning to come from Russia to visit them and help take care of precious Omer when Anastasia returns to work.

Please pray for Anastasia, for grace and strength for this coming season as a single mother.
