Olivia's Story
Olivia is a 21 year old ‘sabra’ (native Israeli). She was raised in foster homes and has been unemployed most of her adult life health insurance .
Olivia contacted Be’ad Chaim in the 8th month of her pregnancy, after having collapsed on the street. She had not eaten nor had any liquids for some time and was dehydrated and homeless. Her boyfriend had abandoned her in the middle of the pregnancy.
Be’ad Chaim helped secure partial funding for an apartment and provided food vouchers for her payday loans.
Her boyfriend came back to Israel in time for the birth of their child in July, 2007 and now wants to marry her. She has since gotten pregnant again and came under great pressure from her foster mother to abort the baby.
Through encouragement from Be’ad Chaim as well as support from a private donor and the Operation Moses program, she is going to keep the child, who is due to be born in July, 2008. Congratulations, Olivia!!
Best luck from real estate agents and personal loans
